ANNOUNCING AN AMATEUR RADIO LICENSE CLASS

A 10-week classroom course leading to an FCC Amateur Radio "No-Code
Technician" license will begin on Thursday,April 16th, from 7:00 - 9:30
PM.  The class will be held at the Virginia Air & Space Center located at
600 Settlers Landing Road in Hampton.

Required textbook will be the ARRL book entitled "Now You're Talking",
obtainable at most Radio Shack stores for about $20, and there are no
other charges. Class size is limited and pre-registration is therefore
required.  You should call Steve Silsby, WA4BRL, the Head Instructor, at
886-1407 evenings.

This class is being sponsored  as a public service by the VASC Amateur
Radio Group, Inc., a consortium of 12 Amateur Radio clubs in the Hampton
Roads area.
