Shown here is an overall view of the VASC Amateur Radio Group, Inc. Satellite Station Antennas. These antennas are capable of rotation in azimuth (horizon) and elevation (height). They are located on roof of the west wing of the Virginia Air and Space Center. The antennas operate in an autonomous mode under computer control to automatically receive messages from Amateur Radio satellites when the satellites are passing overhead.
